1. What a beautiful story. I know from experience that there is nothing better than taking an animal who hasn't experienced an owner's love and making them a member of your family.

2. i think it is touching and it judt makes you think of all those other animals out there that need that kind of love and kind hands to guide them to warmth and a loving family... it makes tears come to my eyes when i think of the fact that a 4 day old pup was abandoned and left to fend for itself but yet it makes you so happy to think it is in loving hands and a happy enviroment...

3. It is a beautiful story and Maxie is so blessed to have an angel in Jessy her rescuer and now her mama. We have rescued the last 3 of our cats and it is so gratifying to know that they are here safe and sound with us and happy and loved and not out on the street or dead by now. There are so many homeless animals that I thank God that we are in a position to have our little "girls" and to give them a home. Thank you for sharing your story Jessy that is so touching. 4. Jessy has been a good Mama to lots of dogs. Some are at the Rainbow Bridge, but she always remembers them. I, too, rescued my Alyssa from a shelter. Homeless dogs are the best.

5. Amazing... I have a dog who looks exactly like Maxie. I, too, rescued my Foxy from SPCA. She was only 3 months old when I adopted her. She is the most loyal and obedient dog I've ever had...very protective and affectionate. I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw Maxie's picture. It's a small doggie world.
